PRESS RELEASE

Autumn ‘23 International Publishers Exhibition

“EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS OF EDUCATORS

WILL BE THE FOCUS POINT OF THE LARGEST FLT EVENT OF GREECE”

The Autumn ’23 Αthens International Publishers Exhibition is ready to welcome the Foreign Language Teaching (FLT) audience on the 2nd of September, 10.00-18.00 and 3rd of September, 10.00-17.00 at the Divani Caravel Hotel.

With 45 organisations composing the exhibition - some of them for the first time - it will definitely be an exhibition extraordinaire. A rich variety of products will be available for you to inspect in order to select the most appropriate publications, exams, methodologies, tech gadgets and apps for your lessons and students.

The seminar programme is highly diverse covering an extremely large number of subjects, but always keeping the evolution of the learning process and progress in mind. We and the sponsors of the presentations have focused on the emotional and social skills, that according to experts make the job of a teacher unlikely to be replaced by AI. At the Autumn ’23 Athens IPE a number of presentations will focus on Italian as a foreign language and its future.

We are especially honoured that the opening presentation will be given by ELIZA - Society for the prevention of cruelty to children on how an educator can recognise signs of abuse and how to handle it. The first day will close with a hands on workshop by Alice Savage, an author and teacher trainer from the USA on “A Taste of Drama in ELT”.

Entrance to the exhibition and seminars during exhibition hours if free of charge for all foreign language teaching professionals.
