Children are generally kinaesthetic learners and so want to move around the room and be active in order to learn. Touching and manipulating objects is also very important, as children learn by 'doing' and interacting with their environment. Creating opportunities for children to make things and interact with real objects, visuals and situations is crucial for their learning.View the video.

Γεννιόμαστε ή γινόμαστε πολύγλωσσοι;

Δεν υπάρχει συγκεκριμένη ηλικία για την εκμάθηση μιας ξένης γλώσσας. Η εκμάθηση του λόγου-ομιλία ξεκινά και βασίζεται στις νευρο-ψυχοφυσιολογικές αρχές του ακουστικού οργάνου , δηλαδή του αυτιού. Με άλλα λόγια όταν το αυτί είναι έτοιμο.

Το αυτί ετοιμάζεται από την “εμβρυακή” ηλικία για την ομιλία μέσω της οστέινης ακοής φυσικά. Άρα , σύμφωνα με τον Alfred Tomatis γεννιόμαστε πολύγλωσσοι.

It’s back to school, and so the subject of uniforms comes up once again. In the news recently  “Schools in England are being urged to keep the cost of school uniforms down, as many ‘rebrand’ themselves as academies.” It claims that more than half of England's secondary schools are now academies or in the process of becoming academies, and that the average cost is over £200 per secondary pupil to have all the necessary items – blazer, shirts, tie, trousers or skirts, socks, shoes, gym kit etc.

ANSWER: A judicial use of video-based exercises to spice up conventional book lessons will not only capture the learners' attention but will provide them with opportunities to recognize and use English they know, to learn new expressions and to develop essential observation skills.

As video is a very rich medium, it is important to plan a video lesson focusing on specific language learning aims.  Here is a suggested procedure to follow for planning such an activity:

Answer: There are many activities. The one we are discussing today, combines collaboration and developing the social skill of giving/receiving, as well as the language one can use. This activity could also be used in-person.
